Cleaning a EPX T-1

Could someone tell me the best way to clean a EPX so that everytime you touch the ball, it won't leave handprints all over the ball?

There is no need to use soap with the EPX. Hot water is all that is needed.

yeah... exactly what I would say to do.

Well I have heard this and that with and without soap... I did both and I see no difference... so.......

drill a hole all the way through it, get a big heavy rope, put the rope through the hole, tie a knot in the end, then toss it into the water. The freshwater at the bottom of any lake is the best cleaner for the EPX!

Hot water is not going to clean it completely. I was using hot water only but noticed it wasn't getting completely clean. I starting using Degree Dull cleaner on a paper towel and finally was getting the junk off the ball. After cleaning it I then put it in hot water.

Getting much better results now.

Hot water only?  But it's not getting it clean...  Why not use soap?

The point being is that some soaps can bind with chemicals in the coverstock and do as much damage as the ball being saturated with oil.

I will add some soap sparingly to the mix towards the end to break up the oil, but I will not let the ball sit there and soak in hot, soapy water for very long.  After the soap is added I will then rinse the ball off using water as hot as I can tolerate.
