Help with some ball comparisons please.
« on: November 16, 2007, 01:09:03 AM »
From what I understand the Rival would be stronger than a Hyde.  How does it compare with the Bully and the original Brunswick Inferno?  This is assuming that they are all drilled the same and left in box condition.

Thanks for the help.

Yes the Rival is stronger than the Hyde, and it is ( IMO) stronger and more versitile than the Bully. As far as the Brunswick Inferno, have never thrown it, so I can't give you a honest comparison.
But drill a Rival and you will be pleased

Having thrown the Hyde, the BACKYARD Bully, and the Original inferno, I would have to say that, for me, the Hyde seemed to be a tad stronger than the O.I., probably due to the fact that the Hyde is a solid and the O.I. is a pearl.  The Backyard Bully was longer and backendier than either of these two. The Hyde had a touch of polish, as was the O.I., but in straight O.O.B. finish, the Hyde would be a lot stronger because mine came factory matte.

IMHO, if the Rival is stronger than the Hyde, it would have to be stronger than the O.I. also.

Thanks for the help.  I guess I'll go with the Rival.
