A few questions
1) Was the HoloFlex only used on the Cuda 2000 and Cuda/C 2000?
2) Are there any big differences between HoloFlex and SuperFlex?
Thanks

I believe that holoflex was very tiny particles in typically a peal superflex base.
Other balls that followed this same concept around the same time in pearl (but not called holoflex) were AMF with the Firehawk and Firehawk Super C.
AMF Revenge might have been the first! Not sure.

These particles make the ball earlier than the pearl surface would suggest and give the ball a more controlled move at the end of the lane than a ball that was pure pearl reactive with the same inner core and drilling.

Those mystery coverstocks at AMF.
A lot of mystery ingredients.
One can only guess based on time of intro.

I doubt if the Firehawks were Holoflex.
I've sanded and polished an dsanded and polished by Firehawk and it's reaction has been very consistent, unlike my Heat 2 pearl.
I have to believe that the holoflex additive was just, as someone here implied, in the very top most layer of the coverstock and it was easily sanded away with the first decent sanding.
As a result of this, I would not recommend any ball with Holoflex in it, unless you are willing to throw away the ball after 100 games maximum. I speak from experience in having resurfaced my Heat 2 pearl in at least 5 - 8 different ways with no success. I loved that ball but Track/Columia's method made it, in my opinion, un-restorable.

It came out at the same time as the Cuda's.
Talked about a new secret smaller particle, me thinks holoflex.
But you'll never find that wording in the literature.
