Cool NoiZe mini review
« on: July 07, 2009, 08:01:54 AM »
First off, let me give you some info about myself.

17 y.o.
right handed
350-400 rpm
medium tilt
17 mph

Drilled 4.5 x 3.5 with a hole one inch right of thumb.

I've been throwing this ball for about two weeks now. First initial reactions to the cool noize: Very good mid-lane roll, strong continuous move to the pocket. Put it at 4000 grit and went to practice.

House shot:

On a burnt up house shot, the cool noize didn't over react to friction. It did however cut through carry-down better than anything else a had. Compared to my Virtual gravity at 2000 grit, the cool noize was a little longer and more continuous through the pins. Compared to my hy-road at 4000 grit polished, the cool noize was earlier and smoother on the back. About the fifth game I shot 279 with a ringing ten in the fourth frame. Next game I was perfect for my sixth 300!

Viper:

This was the best bowling ball in my arsenal for this shot. The pattern had four games on it from the league last night. I started playing straight up five. The cool noize read the pattern perfectly. Great mid-lane roll and continuous backend motion. After about ten games I had moved a total of 5 board. Also the ball had the same continuous motion as it did when I started.

Overall: Amazing ball. Great versatility. Great performance. Great price.

This ball is good, I drilled mine 5 1/2 by 4.  I put a hole 4in over. This is how my Noize was drilled.  The Cool Noize is earlier and more rolly on the backl half of the lane.  Looks good on heavy volume upfront.  On House shots a little too strong for me.
