-Ultimate Inferno (800 grit, pin under ring, CG kicked out): heavy oil/long patterns/carry down
-Full Throttle (1000 grit, stacked leverage): medium heavy, arc
-Detour (stacked leverage): medium/medium heavy, skid/snap
-Super Trooper (pin above ring, CG kicked out): medium light/light, arc
-White Dot
That basically is what I have planned for my Fall arsenal. How does it look? I think I have all the bases covered. The least oil I ever see in my area is around medium light.

I'm not a C300 guy, but....isn't there a bit too much gap between the Detour and the Super ?
Just wondering..............

Thanks LuckyLefty. I've heard very good things about the Ultimate Inferno as well as the XXXtreme, which was my other choice of heavy oil ball. So sorry I'm going to have to sway away from my Columbia arsenal a little bit.

Jeffrevs, I haven't gotten the Super Trooper yet, but if there is indeed too much of a gap, I might polish up the Detour a little bit to close that gap. Both balls utilize the Superflex coverstock, but yeah the Detour does have a couple flip blocks in its core. I would probably have to play a straighter line when I make the switch, but I dont think it'll be too much of a problem.

Cool....like I said........I'm not sure...just guessing.......

stoneninepin: imo, the Full Throttle isn't really a true flood ball. i mean, i can use it for floods, but i have to move right, and slow my speed down. and since i've used it for over 100 games, the ball just doesn't hook as much as it did out of the box. it still hooks enough to be a medium heavy ball, but since i see the flooded long patterns here pretty often (surprisingly), the ultimate seems like a good idea. has anyone seen the ultimate in action next to a full throttle?
