Title: How is my Action drilled?
Post by: inslyx on December 09, 2006, 05:55:45 PM
Please take a look at this pic.  I wanted this ball to roll earlier and flare a lot, as it's going to be my heavy oil ball.  Here's how it's drilled, let me know if it should have a weight hole, as I think it'll probably help me get closer to my desired reaction.  I got this ball at a great price, so it was worth experimenting with Columbia 300, as I normally use Hammer.

So your cg is probably kicked out to the right at about 5 o'clock? That is also kinda weird that the serial number is next to the thumb unless you have an unusual drilling on it.

Why is that unusual?  I believe Columbia puts the serial number below the CG marking.  I had a Chaos drilled like that, rolled early, flare was probably in the medium range though.

So, what's the consensus?  Do I need to get more information?  The Pin is 1-2", tops.  Maybe even closer to 0-1"

Looks like it is just a standard early roll lable drilling. I would have gone a little closer to your pap for a early drill but this to me looks to be your run of the mill lable drill for early roll.

Thanks, C-G.  Do you believe a X-hole will help me achieve more of the reaction I'm wanting?  Because right now, I'm just not satisfied with the aggressiveness of the ball.
