Columbia Classic Rock
« on: April 04, 2006, 09:27:23 AM »
Hi guys

I am awaiting the arrival of a Classic Rock, NIB.  My coach/driller wants me to get a couple of NIB pieces for him to drill with the bridge closer so my fingers won't be too far apart (he says it generates more power in little folks like me)

Anyway, I've read Bowling Ball Reviews, and I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with a Classic Rock and was willing to share some info.

Thanks!

White Dot,

I have a friend (left hander) who still uses his and has very good luck with it. He has bought some of the newer stuff, but he always goes back the Classic Rock as his go to ball. I don't know exactly how he has his drilled, but it makes a nice arc and carries very well. Hope this helps ya.

The Rock series was hands down one of the best ever series of balls from any manufacturer.  Especially Columbia.  The Classic Rock was straighter through the heads than all of the other Rocks and much smoother in the backend.  It was still quite a strong ball, but very clean in reaction.
