Rare find?

Looks like an original yellow dot bleeder.  Any opinions on authenticity?

I have the same ball, same year, and I have a 1971/72 version. They are closed but not exact. The earlier one is softer and bleeds more. The newer one is a little harder and bleeds a little bit.

I have never heard of a ball busting to pieces just because of putting finger inserts in them.  Is this really possible or could it have been driller error or maybe even a defect with the ball?  Seems odd.

You have an 81/82 not a 71/72

I have 3 of them 2 from the 80's and 1 from my dad that he bought about the same time I was born 6/10/71.
