I am seeking opinions
« on: April 07, 2008, 02:34:18 PM »
I am currently rolling a Resurgence, and I absolutely love it.  The only problem I am having is the reaction with carry-down and the heads burning out.

The first game of my sets have had good reactions, and everything is pretty consistent.  The second game has been iffy if I am bowling with people who don't throw similar lines to myself, and in those cases, I completely lose reaction in the third game.

Now this is where I seek opinions... I don't have a ball I feel comfortable switching to in those situations because all of my equipment is old, and it is just as iffy.  So what I am looking at getting is either the Rival, Momentum, or High Flush.  I know all of those balls could be strong to start a set with as well as end with.

So any input any of you have would be much appreciated.

Currently, my arsenal includes a Resurgence, 2 Rivals (1 pin high polished, and 1 pin lower OOB), a Momentum and a Wrath Dead Flush.   Most of the houses here in Tucson are synthetic, so I can either use my OOB Rival if they're tighter downlane or my polished Rival when they're hooking.  There's one house that has so much free hook that it's silly that the Dead Flush works very well on and one house where the heads break down, but can be a little tighter downlane which the Momentum is good for.   Currently, I'm looking to buy a Wrath HF, just to see how it compares to the others and of course, I need to complete the collection .

I think after going out to VideoBallreviews.com run by a member of this site.

I have to think that Chawk15 is giving you some great advice.  That DeadFlush looks long smooth and strong(and great)!

go with the momentum if you want a little more lenght and i think they discontinued the high flush but i haven't heard anything bad about the dead flush

Momentum or dead flush, Kinetic or Temper all would work and most are pretty cheap.

Any of the three you mentioned would help you out. they would go down farther before going left and would not burn out early. You have no profile so it is hard to be exact with a suggestion or opinion, but if I were in your spot i would go with Momentum.
