How similar is the Hyde to the Shock in ball reaction?

I would guess they are close with Shock with a little more continuation based on my EGO (same core as Shock), I'm also guessing Panic is very close to Hyde.

Thanks.  I thought they might be fairly similar.

I'd guess that the SHock, the Panic (pearl resin with very little RG differential) and tHe Hyde (MAJOR control ball, VERY similar to the Pulse, with a little more hook) are 3 VERY different balls. Hyde (Super-Flex) and Shock (UFD, stronger Super-Flex) are solid resins.

My best guess.

Just because a ball has a core SIMILAR (but not identical to the next ball) does mean, by any stretch of the imagination, that ball #1 wil react anything close to ball #2, with a different coverstock.

COVERSTOCK OF 70% OF A BALL'S REACTION, IN GENERAL. Not 50%, not 30%, not 10, but 70%, IN GENERAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I would think if you took the panic and sanded it to 800'ish it would be similar to the Hyde, but the Shock is a different ball entirely, imo.
