Every time I used it it made a real nice relatively slow smooth hook
I mean how could it not. Drilled 4 X 4 1/2. Strongish drill.
However on anything but some soaked area this ball is the nice 15...FRUDAY

Yeah, Everytime I've thrown the original Icon it has had a nice smooth move and covered some boards and couldn't carry for Crap!
But a couple of weeks ago I took it to my wet dry league and it almost looked good! Real hard move at the back from the alleys but the smooth Icon looked good reading it sort of slow.
So yesterday I go in. The Icon 2 has been a little jumpy. Took out my new jewel the panic and even though it's smooth arc looked great, it was too long this day.
Took out the Icon and it looked just liked the panic but the right length.
Well instead of trying to carry inside I went outside and the thing after a spare in the first frame just carried the world. Smooth almost too much energy burn in the front but it just kept strikin! Had a shot at 290 then all of a sudden...."Luckylefty you have a phone call at the front counter(10th frame)."
This is three weeks in a row! Does this broad have a camera in the alley!?
Blow up and then after resettling started rattling off a string in the second game!
This ball on a sniff of carrydown will hit the pocket and leave 7 9s but when fresh!!!! oh baby! Good strong core, slow reading smooth coverstock. Develops some angle if it has the time!

PS if you like the panic and need that same smooth read earlier with a touch more angularity... This is not bad! Situational!

Mine seems to have early burn also. What surface do you use on this smooth almost dog almost hero?

Original Icon is very picky for me when it wants to strike! But the other night I knew in practice it was a match.
REally nice an early panic with a little more curl. Usually less energy!

Key point on this ball is the relatively low flare potential(.38). AS he said on Fresh or sport type shots this ball just has a real sweet spot!

This ball is so smooth and so strong, and I just keep strikin on a condition that is and has been a lefty killer(overreactive backs).
Had a coule of 9 to 1 as the breakpoint strikes today. It just keeps comin and comin and comin!

You might find it will carry even better! I have tended to play with surfaces too much this past year but found out some cool things from trying it. Low Flare definitely have a calling that is greatly overlooked by most of the public. Go to sport conditions or tournaments that are hard and you find a great appreciation of lower diffs. Crankers should definitely look at these types of balls.
