Well, got the chance to throw the Panic today on more of a scrub shot (leftovers after a Friday night league and glow bowling) on a Saturday afternoon. Wood house, THS, short oil... and boy did this ball perform. I was playing 13 at the arrows out to about 4 or 5 at the breakpoint, and this ball gave me a great read of the lanes, didn't overreact and made a nice controlled arc to the pocket. Very rarely did I leave back pins on this condition, I averaged 220 for the last 3 games on this shot that I bowled with this ball. I believe when the head oil starts to go away and the shot is screaming from certain angle, this ball will be the first one I pull out to keep me in the game.
Even when I use it at the house that I get coaching at (synthetic house, more of a crown shot) I'm able to play 6 out to the ditch with power and control, confident that while others are scrambling for what ball to throw the Panic will keep me in the game.
Excellent ball Columbia- may make me research other medium-light offerings in the future...
