Messenger Ti Low RG Factory Finish?
« on: November 27, 2007, 06:28:15 PM »
According to the Columbia 300 website factory finish on the Messenger Ti Low RG was "Polished". Anyone here who has a clue about the details? Sanded to 600 and then polished?

Thanks guys!

I sanded the ball dull and took some oil out of it using hot water before I took it up to 1000 abralon and finished off with Black Magic on all sides. It seemed a bit too much to bring the ball to 2000 before polishing with Black Magic. We'll see. I didn't have any 2000 compounds available.
