Surface prep for C/Beast
« on: February 04, 2009, 03:04:03 AM »
I've got an OLD Columbia 300 C/Beast and until I can afford to get a new ball I'm looking to figure out how to get the most out of it.

I bowl in an early (6:30 pm) league on what I believe are synthetic lanes.  I don't understand how to determine oil conditions so I can't say if they are heavy, medium, or wet/dry.

Is there any surface prep I can do that will make my C/Beast work better.  If there is I will need details and not just a general suggestion, like clean the ball, to implement.

Thanks for your help to someone who is trying to learn but doesn't have a pro-shop in the house to learn from.
