The overdrive is now up on C300's website.  Just a dull version of the drive it looks like...

Looks sweet to me. Of course thats another stupid comp gen picture so the ball probably won't even resemble it, but the colors sound good.

JPR is dead right.  Some companies the pics they post look nothing like the ball.  The ones that I found the most to not resemble is the v2 sweet, showtime pearl and xcel pearl.hmmm all ebonite.  Doesn't surprise me.

Going off on a atangent here, most of columbia's computer generated pictures lately (of balls) have been pretty close if you ask me, along with storms for that matter. But I have to agree, ebonite seems to have trouble with them. But those colors sound pretty cool, I have to admit...

For me it rolls bad...really bad...guy did the best job he could with it however, its not a ball I would even think about buying for my arsenal, I dont put a lot of hand in the ball I tend to go for stronger equipment.

Shock Vs. OverDrive Which would win? in covering more oil, and then covering more boards in the backend?

I got mine yesterday and drilled it 5x3 pin under ring finger with 1" x-hole in PAP. MB locator is swung out on VAL.  I used it last night on a PBA Pattern E type shot but this house plays much wetter than most places where the PBA uses E pattern. Let's just say this ball ignores the heads. My ball speed is only 17-17.5 but my rev rate is usually 400+ so I need a ball to get through the heads quick and this ball does exactly that. The ball reads the mid-lane wonderfully, the ball revs up great and with all the colors this ball has going I wonder if the Columbia R&D guys were on acid when they picked the colors. Once the ball gets to the backend the move is sharp and contiunous but not so much that it wasn't predictable. When I get to use this ball on a THS and some oil I will post a more comprehensive review. Needless to say this ball compliments the Alter Ego and Drive, thanks Columbia.
