Bully or Full Throttle
« on: February 16, 2005, 11:55:14 AM »
I've been talkin bout getting a new ball all over
this site, asking different opinions on different
companies and balls. I've narrowed it down to either
a bully or a full throttle. The comparison has probably
already been discussed many times. I just want some direct
opinions. I have seen both these balls in action and I think
both have the turn I need and they both hit like a truck, but
owners opinions will probably prove more useful. I am a stroker
with a 10-13mph ball speed. I'm not partial about where I play
on the lane, I have a mid-amount of revs.I am on well kept wood lanes a majority of the time and any help would be appreciated.

With such a slow speed i believe you might have some problem with energy bun in the full. I personally don't like the 2000 grit factory surface that the Bully comes with but it might fit a little better for you.

I would definitely go with a bully i have slower ball speed for sure and I noticed with the bully its just a matter of how you drill it....the full was junk when i drilled mine becasue it was just hook hook hook and uncontrollable

I own and have thrown both the balls tonight i rolled 677 with the bully and the full throttle i rolled a 298 with it and also rolled and won a bud tournament first place i love the full throttle its drilled stacked leverage and so is the bully the bully is more smooth and later reaction the full throttle hooks sooner and if there is a good backend the full throttle is awesome in too much oil the full throttle doesnt perform the bully is better for more oil and the full throttle is a smooth backend and very predictable when it calms down a bit if i throw the bully too fast its skids too long and doesnt drive enough.  Any more questions feel free to contact me both balls are good!!!  I have thrown the full more games than the bully.
