As always, it depends on the ball and people's perception of it.
When Faball went under and Ebonite bought the Hammer name, only a very few prized Hammers have been in demand; and they were/are mostly urethanes. Their only resin ball that is still highly desireable is the SLedge Hammer and they're are now darn few of those which are new.
They'll be lots of new Columbia, Track, AMF and Dyno-Thane balls around for years to come, I'd guess. Pro Shops and distributors are probably now getting ready to hoard the ones they believe to have value.
