Is the Big Shot for Me?
« on: February 15, 2007, 03:33:29 PM »
I haven't thrown any Columbia since the Big Bully, which i really like, shot my first two 300s with it. When I first heard about the Big Shot, i didn't really care for what i had heard, but after hearing nothing but great things i've decided to look into it. My rev rate is right around 300 and ball speed around 18 mph. I am currently throwing ebonite Total NV and NV as well as a total inferno, black widow, and Special Agent, but i am really impressed with the Ebonite NV's, but want to find something in between the NV and Total NV. Something that hooks a little earlier then the Total Nv, but still has a good amount of pop on the backend. So my question is, do you think the Big Shot would fit this spot? And if so, what kind of layout should i be using, and do you think i should adjust the surface?

just had this conversation with a guy last nite who has both.  he felt that the big shot went longer then the attack,  and had more backend then his tnv.
claims that he drilled his big shot tamer then his tnv.  and he was in buying another big shot, and was going to drill it tamer, like his tnv.
