columbia looking very good, the pure even looked good in fagans hand even though his look on the right lane sucked.  Pumped im going to have a pure and total bedlam on the way as soon as the total comes out

Shouldn't have to wait long.  The Total Bedlam is out, my local proshop had one the shelf when I went in there Friday.

the release date on buddies is 1/14 so i have a few more days to wait, my VG is finally starting to slow down so im pumped to see what the total will do in relation to my vg

Ahh, I see.  That's kinda weird unless my proshop got ahold of it a little early.

Garber was using a Full Swing and Scroggins was using the new Pure Swing.

garber threw the ball the best but carry was not on his side, i think the fast speed was his issue, causing some bad breaks, but scroggins did bowl very well and definately deserves the win

scroggins was not throwing a pure swing. i didnt see any gold.

It didn't go without notice by me but no one was really talking about the show here. I didn't bother posting it.

Scroggins was, as far as I was able to tell, using a Full Swing his in his first match against Fagan and switched to the Pure Swing for the final match against Garber. There was gold in it, but it wasn't as blotchy as the one used by Smallwood in his win.

This. They showed the winning ball on Xtra Frame and it was a Pure Swing.

Maybe, the gold would have been visible if there were cameras set up on the left side.  Ah, maybe not.

I saw the gold in the ball... I am sure that ball has many games on it thus is dirty and not as colorful as it was when new..

mikes ball looked dull or just really dirty
probaly why you couldnt reslly tell it was the pure

That must be one dirty ball if the gold doesn't show up.  I have to watch again to see if I can see the gold.  I have a large lcd and I can't see it then I guess I need new glasses.

There is no doubt it was a Pure Swing he used in the last match. Not all of them will have alot of gold in them plus I''m sure the ball was really dirty with all the games those guys put on a ball in a small amount of time..

I have a 50 inch Plasma and I could see what he was using pretty clearly..

I just looked and I can see the gold when the ball hits the pins but not when he''s holding the ball because the cameras are too high or he''s holding the ball too low.  Sorry, my lcd is only 46 inches but it is an XBR.  I feel better already.

I believe they mentioned it on the telecast that he was using the Full Swing on the left lane and the Pure Swing on the right...

One thing I like about the new equipment is that it keeps the other companies on their toes to improve their products.  Nothing like competition to keep innovation going.
