Columbia's Spirit and Spirit II have hugely different properties in different weights. As you drop weight from 16 to 14 pounds the rg goes way up and the differential goes down.
I know the Spirit II is being billed as a medium condition ball. However, due to the drastic difference in specs, I keep finding myself considering it for dryer mediums since I am currently rolling 14 lbs.
Is the cover too strong for this?
Right now I'm rolling the ball with a high track and a lot of revs with medium speed. I keep finding myself having to play really deep inside to get my Green Messenger to the pocket (also 14 lbs). Will the Spirit II allow me to play somewhat more direct or is the cover just too strong?
