Anyone realize the Ego core is the same from The Reaction Rev?

I checked the RGs and Diffs and there not close. the Rg is higher and the differental is lower on the Ego. But forever one around here the rev went very long and snapped unbelievabley hard, and hit like a MoFo. anyone else hope it's similar?

You cant forget that the Flipside Wow also has the same core as the Rev..

True i had forgotten about that, but with that cover it makes it such a different ball it's incredible. wouldn't mind seeing the Accelerator coverstock on a WOW/REV/EGO core. but this UFD might be close. both Pearls but the UFD is particle or atleast with the special additives making it react harder to friction, must create a very strong break point.

For 14lb.bowlers Ego will hook more than Wired.

Rg. of 14lb.Ego is lower than 14lb.Wired and diff. of 14lb. Ego is higher than 14lb. Wired. The same coverstock.

It will be better to wait Ego for 14lb.bowlers who want to buy Wired.

I just saw the EGO yesterday!!

First of all it looks good!  Also it really doesn't look very pearly.

According to the pro shop owner it is core of Reaction Richochet, others here say REV.  Both very good balls.  I particularly liked the REV!
I also think REV from the pictures.

I do not understand what this fascination is with people focusing on the general shape of cores, past and present.

WIll those who are doing so please takes more than 10 seconds worth of glance to realize that while the general shape may resemble that of another ball, only in rare circumstances, when the cover is relatively different, do manufacturers use the same core?

In many circumstances manufacturers, Columbia and all others, can and do change the densities of the 3 or 4 different parts that make up the core to change both the RG and the RG differential AND possibly the mass bias on asymmetrical cores.

Anyone try the Ego yet!???  

Charlest I have found similar shape cores even if densities slightly tweaked often work for me.

At Brunswick, Pro Zone Violet, Impact Zone BZ Bullet, different specs same core model.

Also at Brunswick Monster Scream/r , similar your Walter Ray!

Now I think maybe Reactin Rev and Ego.

Let's hope.
