I don't know how many of you have been following the soap opera going on in the  "Buyer/Seller Feedback" forum, but if so, you've probably seen this crap.
If not, I'll save you a couple hours' reading and tell you that this ball was sent by some punk scammer trying to rip people off. Hope fully he'll get his in the end. The only reason I decided to put this here is because the ball is a columbia aftershock. I thought it might be good for a laugh.
I'd love to go to whatever "pro shop" did that plug work!

Ive seen work like that before... Here's the deal.... Someone is in a Proshop and watches some plug work being done...He thinks he can go to K-Mart and pick up some 2-1 5minute epoxy.... And poof.....He plugs the ball in the garage and sands it with a file or razor blade.....Seen it alot with some old timers around here.   No bull.....   Beans

i read teh post where that pic came from a while back. I asked about that ball and the guy said that it hasnt been fully plugged yet. And that is what it looks like, so if you were to buy it (not that anyone whould) you would have to finish plugging it.

No, this is amateur stuff - plugging a ball without a rim, with filler that shrinks and propably in one shot, so that the material might break. Uagh!
