Loud Noize question
« on: February 08, 2010, 06:20:25 AM »
I got one of these on ebay for a very good price and im wondering if anybody here has one and would care to tell me what i can expect from it. I have my specs in my profile. Basically im wondering is it good for regular house shots, better on drier lanes or higher friction surfaces? Is it more condition specific or is it a ball you can use for a whole set?

I found the Loud Noize to be pretty good when there was a little bit fo friction on the lane.  For me, it was very long and very strong off of friction.  I had mine drilled with the pin 5 1/4 from my PAP above my fingers, and the cg on my gripline.  If you bowl on the right condition, you will love this ball.

Thanks for the info Tim, i have 1 center here in town that has gaurdian overlays and im thinking the Loud Noize will be perfect for that high friction surface.

So its probably not gonna be an everyday ball unless it has some friction.

i have one drilled 5X5 which puts it over the bridge and cg in my palm. Ball has a nice smooth controlled arc at the back of the lane. However, you need to have a little friction for the ball to hook. It usually will not be effective until the backends start to break down.
