Resurgence vrs. No Mercy
« on: October 14, 2007, 02:46:57 AM »
my No Mercy unexpectedly cracked and Hammer gave me credit for a new ball under warranty so instead of picking another N.M. I chose the resurgence.I chose the #1  layout,41/2" from pap over ring and the c.g. in the palm area.
can anyone give a comparison of the two?

The Resurgence is a monster, the continued back end motion is what stands out the most.

I concur with Dale. The Resurgence is a monster in heavy oil. I have about 20+ games on it, oob.

I have had both balls and to me there is no comparison.. The Resurgence is one of the best balls I have drilled up in years and I drill up alot of stuff..

Th Resurgence has amazing pin carry and IMO its continuation thru the pins is what seperates it from all the other balls..

first night with it and I was hopeing for some oil, well I got it.I had oil sitting on the track the whole night!on this shot I don't think my no mercy could hang in there like the resurgence.first game on a fresh shot was good but the oil pushed down and it was a speed adjustment after that.I shot over ave on a very tuff shot so I'm happy, but nothing to brag about.I do feel this ball is cleaner then my phenom and had good carry in the heavy but I have to give the nod to particle on this type of shot, slightly.I was very impressed on the mid lane and backend with this ball but could'nt figure how I left a few 7 pins on some very hard and heavy hits.I feel with a little less oil this ball is a monster and it was very playable on a true heavy oil shot.

No Mercy vs. Resurgence
Is not that like comparing a sprinter to a distance runner? Those two balls do two different things.

tried it last night in my other house on a long medium condition,FORGET IT!the ball spent too much energy up front and when it hit the oil in the backends it had no momentum left, hit flat.NBD,I have plenty to choose from for medium oil, thought I would give it a try anyways.
