Hey guys I've been bowling with the Full Throttle a few times now and I wanted to recommend it to a lot of people. However, since I'm not too good with technical terms, I'm gonna post a mini review here first. First of all, the Full Throttle is my second ball. My first ball was the Wicked B/R/T, which doesn't have enough bite for the heavy oil synthetic lanes that I bowl on. Ok so here we go.
Specs: 15 lb, 2" pin, 3 oz. top weight, drilled stacked leverage.
Ball Speed: Medium
Revs: Medium
Type of player: Tweener
Recommended Condition: Heavy, Medium/Heavy Oil
I usually stand on the second mark from the left, and I throw out through the third arrow from the right. The ball skids down the lanes and cleans the heads well, and turns the corner hard in the end and has plenty of power left to hit the pocket. I may not be the most experienced of players, but the reactions from fellow league bowlers have been very impressive. Let me tell you, this ball is quite forgiving. It seems to find the pocket by itself, and even if you're a little light on the pocket, it will carry most of the time. While this ball excels most in oil, I find that it will still play very well in medium oil, but you will have to step a few boards to the left. Oh, and let me say, this ball hits SOLID. There's no comparison between how this ball hits and the way my Wicked B/R/T used to hit. But that is probably not a fair comparison since the two balls are made for different conditions. First game I took this ball out, I bowled a 255 (I average 180). Anyway, this ball is not prone to leave corner pins. I definitely recommend this ball to anyone who needs to fill in the heavy oil spot in their bag. Great reaction, good length, and hits very hard. I've also heard this ball is a great compliment to the Detour, but I've yet to drill one. That's probably next on my list. I hope this review helped.
Overall: I'd give this ball 9.5/10
