Hello Group
I am in the market for a new ball and I believe that the Momentum has caught my eye
Anyway, is the Momentum a "med to dry" lane ball or a total "med" oil ball? the few reviews that I have read seems to suggest that it is for a "med to dry" lane
condition.
Thanks Jake

I got two of them, I drilled them fairly weak, and they are medium oil balls at best out of the box. Layouts in profile, the 4000+shine really gets them down the lane, and the round weightblock makes the ball arc off the friction rather than flip. Ball works great when length and control is needed. If you break the cover with rougher pads, the ball will handle a good amount of oil.

Move left, hook it more.....
Tommy Jones is a Gamecock fan...are you???
We shall now refer a 4-bagger as a hambone...Mark it down the revolution has started!

Way too strong for any dry.

I wholeheartedly second this. It is a med- med heavy ball plain and simple. If you want want more of a med to dry ball try a high flush or even a dead flush (VBR has a great comparison between the Deadflush and the Mo)

Just some info .. I had NEVER seen the Momentum in action .. on the last night of this season .. one of the ladies on my Wed night league bought the ball! She's not a GREAT bowler but throws the ball fairly well! The ball was drilled before we started the 1st game ..she used it .. and it went very well with the condition being med to heavy.
The ball arced to the pocket and if any where near the pocket the ball carried everything! I was very impressed .. the ball looked EXCELLENT! I don't blame you for this ball catching your eye .. good luck!

It is truly an amazing piece of equipment. It compliments my Gamebreaker extremely well, with the Momentum a tad weaker the way I have it drilled.

Despite what issues I've had with the cover, the Momentum is a wonderful ball to have. You will not regret it, it's that good.
Cheers

It can be either with the correct drill and surface prep.
