I have an Arch Rival coming as part of an anyball league. The house I primarily bowl in has just been redone and has new BW Pro Anvilane surface using Authority 22 oil machine. After bowling on the PBA Experience the past summer, it's become obvious to me that the layouts I have on most of my current equipment need more friction on the lane to work properly. What kind of drills would one use for more sport/PBA conditions. Stacked ? Pin Under (5x3, 5x4, etc.) ?? What kind of surface works better on flatter patterns, lower grit w/ polish ?? I feel like after bowling a couple of regionals and these PBA experience leagues, I'm completely lost and in need of help. I know what it feels like to be matched up correctly on a PBA shot and that you have far less room than a normal house shot, but when you're not matched up properly on a PBA pattern, it can get ugly in a hurry.
