Momentum Swing
« on: May 15, 2008, 09:03:43 AM »
This ball is soon to release on July 15. Does anyone know if this ball will be stronger than the original Momentum?

He probably found it from the Buddie's link on the Arch Rival, cause that's where I saw the 'coming soon' Momentum Swing.

No images yet. Interesting to see what the Swing offers as to the original Momentum.

I have a feeling the Swing is the North American release of the Nouveau.

Columbia 300 Momentum Swing Bowling Ball

CORE: Resurgence Asymmetric

CORE TYPE: Asymmetric

Just to note, the Resurgence core is a symmetrical core. I'm pretty sure all of Columbia's cores are symmetrical right now.

But the Rising is Tracks only TRUE asymmetric/mass bias ball currently.

The others, Temper, Kinetics, have a mass bias rating of .004 which is insignificant in the Mass Bias world and make them symmetrical for all intents and purposes.

But Columbia having an asymmetric core is big news, IF the mass bias is truly significant.

If they're using the "proven Resurgence core", can someone please explain to me how it became asymmetrical out of nowhere?? I'm confused..

Been told by a staff player this ball is pretty special.  Wonder if they'll have demos to try the new balls?
