Rival is the ball of the year

just had other good match with this ball 846.. 290 277 279. just want to hear from everyone other there if this is as good for me as it is for everyone else..

I'm on the fence about this ball.  I've heard a mix of good and bad about it, and every single one of the videos I've seen show the ball lacking hitting power at the deck.  How's yours ChrisLak?

I've bowled a 245 278 226 = 749 last week. I love the reaction I'm getting w/the Rival. The ball doesn't overreact like most med/heavy ball. Smooth threw the breakpoint from what I see..

Not sure what videos you saw there LeftyHys, but let me assure you this ball does not lack hitting power. I have had some good series with it so far, my highest being 268-264-266=798. I had to shine mine up a little since we bowl second shift, but it handled that very well. I think this is a very good ball. If you like a ball that reads the midlane well and makes a smoother turn the pocket, this is the ball for you. Plus from what I have seen, it handles surface adjustments very well allowing you to throw it on a variety of patterns.

This ball lacking hitting power, is this some kind of joke ???  The Rival hits harder than the rest of my current equipment because of the strong midlane roll and strong, contiuous backend.  And because of the more mild reaction when it see friction, you can use it on everything but the extremes.  When Chris Barnes said this ball is his 80%er, he's not kidding.  This is currently my favorite ball in the bag for those 2 reasons, especially now that some of the Tucson centers have remembered to oil the lanes before bowling.

Chris Lakatosh is great bowler and any ball looks good in his hand! He is tearing up with his Rival and it looks like a great ball. However, my money is on the MoRich LevRG or the "Nsane LevRG as the ball of the year!

I'll go out on a limb & say either the Storm Shift or Attitude Shift will be the ball of the year.  Bowl up a Storm.
