Need a replacement ball
« on: August 01, 2011, 07:00:17 AM »
My Cool Noize has died and I need something to replace it.  I have an Arch Rival as my oil ball and a Sharp Noize for dry.  Which of the new Columbia balls would be a good replacement and fit in between the Arch Rival and the Sharp Noize?

Would also consider something in the Ebonite or Track line.

Any help would be appreciated.

i would suggest the burst or the eruption. leaning closer to the eruption
edit: just saw the part about the track and ebo balls. the 503c would be a good option or possibly a cyclone

Almost anything new you drill is going to be stronger than either the Cool or the Arch because of the number of games on them. If you haven't done so, you could try either resurfacing or baking your Cool or both.

A burst would work if you keep it shiny, but an Eruption might be better. The Eruption is 2000 with polish and a stronger core/cover, so it shouldn't be as long as your Sharp Noize. And being pearl with polish, it should still be a little longer than a dull Arch.
