First, welcome aboard here.
To answer your question about the Violent Eruption first, you could look at the Mass Eruption as a compliment. Same core, hybrid New Era cover instead of the New Era pearl on the Violent. You'll get a slightly earlier read in the mids but won't get the overreaction you can find sometimes with pearl covers on the back. If you want a solid cover, the Disruption is the best choice. Also, the same core as the Eruption series, and uses a solid version of the New Era cover. at would make a great 1-2 combo. Use the Mass Eruption or Disruption when you have a little more volume up front and as the lane transitions, switch to the Violent Eruption.
As for long patterns, I'm surprised that the World Beater isn't getting the job done, because it was one of the strongest balls that Columbia 300 offered just a few years ago. If you haven't had a resurface/bake done on the ball, you may want to give that a shot first as that cover does soak up oil.
If you do go with a new ball, the Enigma is one option and it would work. However, you may find the Antics could fit your game better. It's a strong solid cover but tends to be a little cleaner up front while giving a strong move in back. It also works well when polished.
