NEW BALLS!!!

The Beast is back in 4 colors including the original Purple Pearl. Hypershock w/ Lightbulb + Flip block.

The Messenger is back in 3 colors including the Black/Gold with a new core and Hypershock.

2 new White Dot colors, including WHITE!

Columbia is coming out swinging for the summer season.

Looks like their Rhino & Twist. I love it for my roached lanes. Screw urethane with these options

I believe both are going to be a step up from the Rhinos and Twists which are both relatively straight. The New Messenger core looks interesting. Kinda like a football with a halo around it.

are these re-releases?  or just releasing new technology with old names?

i don't remember much about these balls, but my mom had a purple beast and the writing on that was pink

They are up on the website. Messengers at 2.57/0.021 with Super-Flex (same cover as the original...in theory!) and Beasts at 2.54/0.035 with Bend-It.

Messenger is looking mighty tempting especially with HyperShock.

The reactive Scout/Rs did give quite the motion for a pancake block. That's the new "Superflex" formula. The new core should give it much more shape. These both look like they're going to give some real pop on lighter house shots. I'm sure some of the two handed staffers are going to like a reactive that won't rip off the lane.

Quick to recommend picking up a Scout/R if go on clearance.  With positive side weight those balls own the right (ie spotty crappy) conditions especially if can throw in 16#.  Great alternative to urethane.

Wonder how close the Messengers will be to the Deep Freeze.  I am pretty stoked about both of these releases.

You are on the right track. I was told that EBI is going hard after the low end market. And are using C300 to do that. They are ready to take on BIg B in that market...

Dunno, the whole entry reactive section aka the Scouts just disappeared. Wonder if it'll return with a coverstock change since what was on them is now on the Messenger.

Anyone crabby that the new cores don't look like the originals even though it probably wouldn't make a difference anyways?

Wanted to see the upside down light bulb in the beast and the lightbulb with the flip block in the messenger...

Oh well...wouldn't be punching up either but how cool would it be to have the purple beast and the black and gold messenger! Those two will sell 10 to 1 compared to the other colors..
