Disruption
New Era Solid
 New Era has never been used in only a Solid in any ball we’ve produced with a New Era cover.  Because New Era is a pretty clean cover, we’ve created even more back end reaction by removing all the pearl from the ball and give the New Era cover a little more traction.

 The Smack Down core has a medium RG and a high differential.  This core puts the tool in your hand to Smack Down any condition that gets in your way.  The medium RG helps the Smack Down get further down the lane before the high differential kicks in for some awesome continuation!

cmon really with the resurgence/new era solid combo again? thats like 3 benchmark balls in a row just keep calling it the same thing instead of trying to fool people. its a great ball but the name changes are just stupid

I can't wait for the Boots to A$$e$ ball personally, but yeah.

Back on topic...agree with the other poster. Same cover/core combo AGAIN? Oh well...it is what it is and if it sells well, more power to you.

The fact that it is New Era....again. All they did was take the base and add some slip agents (pearl). Fact is they start with the same exact cover, again.

And quite honestly, I do not use Storm because I do not match up with them but they are just as guilty as anyone else. I do understand that reusing cores makes a huge financial difference in the breakeven point for a ball in terms of sales and reusing a cover does the same...lowering a breakeven point is good for the company. The problem is, the constant use of the same cover over and over for individuals who use 1 or 2 companies can become repetitive and building an arsenal very difficult for Columbia lovers, or Storm, Roto, Hammer, etc.

For me personally I am looking forward to the Disruption because with the solid polished cover it will be a little more ball than the Violent Eruption which would sometimes skate in the oil.  Really looking forward to the Smack Down just because it is a new core and cover combo.  The Antics looks great if it is cleaner in the fronts than the Enigma, the Enigma would sometimes react too much in the fronts and mids, so this ball will be the ball to switch to if that happens.

For me, I am looking more forward to the Antics than anything.  I need something to fit in between my Violent and Enigma.  I thought about a Vow but saw on here that those that had both the Vow and Violent; those balls were pretty close together that they felt they didnt need both.  Then I thought about something like a 811C/T but was told to wait until the new releases came out.  So it looks like the Antics is right in that wheelhouse.

It has been over a decade since I have thrown a Columbia branded ball.  The Disruption looks like something I want to try, especially for the reasonable price.
