Columbia Panic- initial use and thoughts
« on: March 16, 2005, 11:20:51 PM »
Had this ball left in box condition, drilled up 5 x 3 3/4 with the cg 1 1/4" below the fingers. This is a great ball for medium-light to lighter conditions, giving me a smooth look on the lane with just the right snap at the back when I need it. I used it on a couple of shots so far in the week that I've had it since drilling it out- one was a longer THS pattern on synthetic lanes and the other was on a heavy 39 foot reverse block pattern. The second pattern I had to play a little more direct off the gutter with slower ball speed but the ball still recovered nicely- whereas on the first shot I was able to play a little deeper and swing it out to the dry (15 to 5). I'm thinking this ball will be a keeper in the bag for when the head oil goes away in league and when the shot starts breaking down in some of my longer tournament formats.

Matt...

Glad to hear the ball is working out for you thus far!  I'm always happy to hear one of our customers doing well with a ball that we recommend / drill for them.  Hope it continues to work well for you!
