I received all of the new equipment today. I'll drill one of each tomorrow and post a little mini review for everyone.

Alright all, here's my mini review of the 3 new pieces.

First of all, my specs:

Rev rate: 325-350 rpm
Ball speed: 15-17 mph
Axis: 4'' x 1/8'' up

Lane condition: Scorpion at the Gold Coast Bowling Center, Las Vegas, NV
(for those who don't know the Gold Coast, the place NEVER hooks...)

ALL BALLS WERE THROWN AT BOX FINISH

BURST
Pics:

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y50/ShReDtHeRacK300/108.jpg

I kept the layout on this ball very simple, pin above the bridge (which equates to roughly a 4 7/8'' pin from PAP) with the CG kicked, no hole. The ball is incredibly clean through the front part of the lane, definitely the lengthiest out of the 3 at box finish, and very smooth and continuous off the break point. No surprise, the ball hooks A LOT for the price point. This is going to be a great benchmark ball for many people. For those who want good length, predictability, but still a good amount of hook down the lane, the Burst is your first choice!

Complete Bedlam
Pics:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y50/ShReDtHeRacK300/105.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y50/ShReDtHeRacK300/106.jpg

I put the same layout on this ball as I did with my Pure Swing. Dual Angle layout, 40 x 4 1/2'' x 65. Weight hole positioned 4 1/2'' over, 1'' down, 7/8 bit 2'' deep. I'm definitely a big fan of this ball. Compared to the Pure Swing, this ball is MUCH smoother at the break. Both create similar length, but the move the Complete Bedlam makes down the lane is much more controllable. Don't get me wrong, it's still got quite a bit of corner, but it's not too erratic. Compared to the Burst, the Complete Bedlam is slightly earlier with a little more pop down the lane. Overall, this ball is about 2 -3 boards stronger than the Burst. It's definitely going to be a good transition ball. I'm looking forward to testing this ball on some other patterns to see hwo it matches up.

Pure Physics
Pics:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y50/ShReDtHeRacK300/103.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y50/ShReDtHeRacK300/104.jpg

Layout used is Dual Angle layout 45 x 5'' x 50, no hole.

HOLY HOOK BATMAN!!!

I don't think I've ever seen a ball hook this much. The ball is the earliest of the 3 new releases, and extremely strong down the lane. The ball never stops hooking! Compared to the Full Swing, this ball is about 1-2 feet earlier and about 4-5 boards stronger down the lane. The Scorpion pattern put down at the Gold Coast plays VERY tight down the lane. With this ball, I could open up the lane and play where nobody else could. I was able to get this ball to recover from basically anywhere. I never once saw a reaction that I didn't know was coming. If you're looking for the next BIG HOOKING ball out there, the Pure Physics is THE strongest ball from EBI.

As a side note, I drilled a Mission on the release date, shortly before I got on staff with C300. I used the same layout as I did with my Pure Physics. Let me say this...the Mission is an outstanding piece, but I saw MORE performance out of the box with my Pure Physics than I did with the Mission. Pure Physics is earlier and a good 2 boards more down the lane. Not a huge difference, but I think this ball WILL compete with the Mission.

Overall, I believe the Burst, Complete Bedlam, and Pure Physics complement each other EXTREMELY well. I was able to transition from ball to ball very easily. I knew exactly what each ball was going to do. I think Columbia has some serious winners here.

I hope this gives everyone some insightful information into these new gems. If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask!

ALSO, be on the lookout for VIDEOS of these new bowling balls in the near future, presented by K&K Bowling Services. The balls will be tested by myself and Mr. Adam Ishman. As soon as these videos are complete I'll post links for everyone.

I'm glad that you're going to get some vid's up on these balls. I only saw the video for the Complete Bedlam and it sucked. I love my original Bedlam so I'm looking forward to seeing your videos.

urbanshaft - The Pure Physics is definitely stronger overall than the Total Bedlam. It's earlier and makes a smoother transition off the break point.

Shields - The Complete Bedlam will create just as much length as the Bedlam, but will be stronger down the lane. The Complete will cover a few more boards and be sharper off the break point.

I recently punched up a Burst as well, but I went pin above the ring with the CG kicked in towards the palm.  This makes it a little earlier and smoother downlane.  The house I attempted to use it in was just too dry, (ended up using my spare ball because it was too dry.) so I don't have a good read on it yet.

Looking forward to the other 2 as well, although I don't know where I'll throw the Pure Physics in Tucson.  Maybe I'll save it for when I take a trip to Vegas bowl a tournament @ Gold Coast.

I agree with Brandon I drilled my complete bedlam and it is real comparable to the original bedlam but is a bit stronger on the backend but still makes it down the lane with ease. It rolled so good i drilled both of them and will be throwing them in reno next week along with the burst which i think is an amazing piece in that mid price category because with the box finish its unbelievably smooth and just taking the polish off its a totally different ball

Sorry Didn't check back before i left. I bowled team on Monday the 13th started with a pin down complete bedlam at 4000 and after half the first game quickly switched to a pin up burst at 2000. I went 219 234 277 for 730. Singles and Doubles were another story never got anything going and shot 604 in doubles and 647 in singles with 14 9/s
