Greetings all!  Presently using the Noize, factory finish polished up using regular house wax block polisher.  Love the ball, but have to swing it too much / throw it too hard for my liking.  Here's my background...

Bowled for 35 yrs as a righty...converted to lefty, currently in 3rd season, due to rheumatoid arthritis-couldn't get a comfortable grip with my right hand anymore.  As a righty, averaged 195-210 from mid-1980s on, handful of honor scores, nothing spectacular...true old-school bowler, most proud of averaging 207 back in '94 without shooting a 700 set.  I'm a tweener, 13-14 mph, low 3/4 / high spinner, soft-to-moderate swing shot.  Currently averaging 170 lefty.

Anyhow, my Noize is just too much on a THS...most league nights, I have to swing 17 to 5 @ 40 feet just to hold pocket.  I always loved the TiBossII core, and want to stay in that family.  Between the Sharp and the Cool Noize, which ball would be better suited for playing less swing, with a smooth yet strong ARC to the pocket?  Really not looking for a skid/flip reaction, but more even finish.

Suggestions?

The Sharp Noize will give you the easy length but you may need to adjust the surface and or layout to give you a more controlled backend.

Loud Noize is a better option than the Sharp. Cool Noize will be very similar in shape as the Noize just weaker overall.

The Loud Noize is the weakest ball of the bunch in my opinion. Similar if not more length than the Sharp Noize, but not as flippy as the Sharp Noize on the backend.

I think your best bet is to go with the Cool Noize. It'll give you a couple more feet of length with that smooth arc on the back that you are looking for.

Thanks again guys, but I'm a bit confused...pardon my ignorance of the latest ball surface technologies!  As an old school guy, back in the urethane and early reactive days, if a ball I had hooked too early or too much, I'd polish it up...now, from what I've read, polishing current reactives will gain length, but create more flip...on the other hand, dulling it a bit with 2000 or 4000 might make it turn a little earlier, but with a more even arc.

Do I have this right?
