Has anyone out there thrown both of these balls? If so how do they rate?

Completely different balls imo. Outburst is a low rg ball with a stronger cover and will handle more oil or play much deeper with a smooth continuous motion.
Nomad Solid is a medium oil ball that will clear the fronts better and have a more defined motion down lane.
Both great balls....just depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

I currently have a Burst. I am a tweener usually standing between 10-20 and throw 8-15. I have medium revs and a medium track. I throw league typical house pattern. The Burst is coming in a light and I need something with more back end. I also am looking to complete an arsenal for some tournaments coming up. I looked at the new World Beater and Taboo, and am most likely going to get one or the other drilled with a strong layout. I think I made need something between the Burst and whichever one I decide on getting. My pro shop guy raves about the Nomad Solid, and I have heard excellent things about the Burst. I was looking for feedback from people who know both balls that can help me hone in on the right one.

Get a World Beater and Outburst to compliment your Burst and I think you will have a very nice 3 ball line-up. When you meet with your driller tell him exactly what you are trying to accomplish and he should be able to set them up nicely for you.
