Old Blue Dot
« on: November 23, 2007, 01:47:01 AM »
I have an old Blue Dot, probably 30 years old. I have used it for 10 pins for a long time. It has had the thumb hole plugged and redilled once. The area around the inserts (the "top" of the holes) has gotten chipped pretty badly. I am assuming it would need to have all three holes plugged and redrilled.

Since this is one of the old "hard" Blue Dots I hate to get rid of it, but the cost of a plug and redrill and new inserts is pretty high.

Do you think it would be worth getting plugged and redrilled?

Or, should I just buy a new plastic ball. (Like a Storm Ice Storm)

OR ........?

If you like the Blue Dot, just get another one or a white dot.  I know it isn't as hard, but is still gets the job done.
