Kudos to Columbia on the Momentum!

Im not gonna lie, I love brunswick and I am a die-hard brunswick guy. Only Brunswick in the Bag.
But my friend recently got a Momentum for xmas and punched it up. He threw it today in practice.
First off, the colors are sweet. His was purple, blue, orange, red, and what seemed to be a dark green mixed together. The colors were dark, but they looked awesome.
He shot 703 out of the box with it and I have never seen him play the line he did. He usually plays right up first arrow into the pocket. He was throwing the ball over 3rd arrow from the right gutter, out to a few boards before 1st arrow, and striking at an unbelievable rate. I threw it 2 shots and the ball was so controllable...I was impressed. It hit like a semi truck too.

I give my kudos to Columbia on the Momentum, as it just might be the first Columbia ball I ever buy and punch up. Very Nice!

i too threw a ton of brunswick equipment untill i got curious and drilled a rival......... which is by far the best ball i have drilled in my recent memory...........  my success with the rival (average about 230 since drilling it) sparked me to drill a resurgance for the heavier stuff  and it does exactly that........  i drilled a momentum to compliment the other two and i will tell ya that i am sold on the new columbia stuff....  i am not even looking at any other brands of bowling balls  because these balls are awesome.......

good job columbia on making some really awesome bowling balls

You mean Ebonite, the old Columbia balls sucked big time compared to the new Ebonite/Columbia balls......

I 2 am completely amazed with the Momentum. I punched mine up the other day (pin one inch about the bridge and cg kick to ab 530, it dill number 4 on the drill sheet) and I must say I was very shocked. I have been very scared to try the new columbia stuff cause I have never had much luck with ebonite products but I was like what the heck. All though I have only truly thrown it 2 games I bowled 260 and 267 for those 2 games on different days on different shots. I was so impressed with it that I finally went out and bought the resurgence I was considering purchasing for such a long time. I cant believe how hard this ball crush the pocket.
