Was browsing the ABS web site and saw this gem.  This is a very unique looking ball!

I love the look of the ABS balls as well. Wish they were a little easier to access in the states.

Oh yeah, the ball lists for about $450 on their website. 46000yen.

Guess you could buy one ($450), have it shipped here (probably close to another $100 at least), and have one.

Coincidentally, if they can sell them over there for the equivalent of $450, I now understand why the Asian market seems to get so many new pieces. Why sell it here for $200, when you can ship them en masse across the pond, and get $450 for the same ball?

I have a Columbia Antics in "pearl color" and Chaos Extreme in a "swirl color" pattern.
Both balls cost more than the American color versions.

I didnt even realize they were rare until i tried to find them online.

I'm in South Korea. I head back to the USA in february. Kind of cool to have balls in colors no one else has.

If i found the above ball i could ship it to the states for about $35 for shipping.

EBI typically does a new release(s) every 3 months (we are talking 1 brand)
the overseas markets want 1 new release per month

Still looking for a Momentum Gold 16#. I know the search might prove to be futile, but nothing ventured, nothing gained

Will be a very tough find even used. New in box would take a miracle. The ball was a limited release from ABS Japan that flew off the shelves and sold out with the quickness.

I specialize in the acquisition of non USA releases and old gems, and was able to import 3 Momentum Golds (2x new, 1x used) after they launched... Had access to more, but the premium price tag made it difficult to take in any more. Seems like a keeper of a ball as they are rarely ever sold as used overseas... If I come across a 16lbs, I'll PM you though.
