Title: panic - surface???
Post by: fishbowler on February 10, 2005, 04:57:47 AM
got a panic in a trade.  is this ball supposed to be shiny or dull.  factory specs says 600 grit matte.  is this true and its supposed to be a drier lane ball.  mine is shiny but haven't rolled it yet.

It's shiny but a bit strong for dry.  It's suited for drier lanes though, as in transition/broken down patterns.  But there's better choices out there for dry lanes.  If you want something for the house shot transition or the lighter side of mediums that's pretty cheap, the Panic is a nice solution.

If you go to Columbia site!

Descriptions now contain surface.

Panic is 600 grit cross hatch with 2000 degree polish from columbia to finish.
