Title: Perfect Rival
Post by: MrNattyBoh on January 29, 2009, 01:21:49 AM
I have been using this ball for two weeks. Bought it brand new. I have used it in box finish (4000) and I have taken it down to 2000. This ball is very versatile. I havent had a ball in a long while that I could trust to get back to the pocket if I pitch it out or when I pull it inside to hold the pocket. I have had sets of 684(practice), 717, 648, 565, 726 & 671 so far. The only thing that gets me in trouble is when there is a really dry spot down the lane. I throw with alot of speed but every once and a while I come upon a dry spot that even i cant throw the ball through. I am really thinking of getting another Perfect Rival drilled longer with less surface and some polish to be able to compliment the reaction I am getting from the one I am throwing now.

Why not just get the Arch Rival which will do what u are asking for same reaction just more length. I have both balls and they complament each other very well when the Perfect is to much I just switch to the Arch and continue to hit the hole

I may just do that. I have been doing some research on this line of balls. All of them seem to roll very well for different people. I am going to either get another ball from the Rival series or the Loud Noise.....not sure yet!

I also have the Loud Noise, which is drilled with a 110degree drilling and I'll use it when the lanes break down and I need more length then what my Arch is giving me. I know with all 3 balls I can cover just about anything. They together make a great arsenal.
