Action Packed question

I want to go to an all columbia arsenal for tournaments.  Right now I have:

Action
ebonite The One
ebonite Black Ice
spare ball

I'm getting a scout to go under the black ice, but i want to replace the one.  I was wondering if the action packed would take the place of my The One?

I'm going to go with no on that one.  The Action Packed is a very very good ball, but unless you plan to tweak the cover, it's not going to replace The One in your arsenal.

I have thrown the Action Packed on Medium Oil and it's awesome, but last night I threw it in practice on a heavier oil and it just slid slid slid, and didn't recover.  When the lanes broke down however, it did exactly what I wanted it to do until I threw it in the gutter lol.

I would say yes it will replace the one it may even be a little stronger than the one. I laid on out for a guy who has two Ones. And watched him throw it and the one in practice and league. The AP hit harder and kept the pins lower along with carrying the off hits better.

Action Packed is a good step down from the Action for medium conditions, it is similar to the original inferno, with a little more length and alot more snap.  It can easily replace THE ONE.  trust me.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.  Why replace it?  Depending on lane conditions, desired breakpoints, carrydown, ball speed, and any other of 32 different factors, it's tough to say that a ball can be replaced.  The One is a great ball and so is the Action Packed.  The answer?  Easy.  Buy a couple of two-ball totes and keep them all.
