I have had my action packed for a week and was not very happy with the reaction I was getting with the box finish so after reading that mrbowlingnut took his down to 1000 abralon, I thought I would as well and I must say I am very happy with the results for the first 3 games of league with it this way:

234 275 237 = 746

The ball now has some serious backend movement to the pocket.. I could get the ball out to 5 and it would come roaring back. With the box finish, it just wouldn't quite make it back sometimes when I played out there and would leave alot of flat 10's. Tonight I didn't miss the pocket from the 3rd frame of the 2nd game all thru the 3rd game and had 3 balls that where not in the pocket all night. I sure am glad I didn't give up on it. It was almost on the selling block but not anymore!! LOL..

The point here is don't be afraid to change the cover on the AP if its not giving you the look you are wanting..

thanks for the tip!! I am going to do nothing to mine. Its just fine at 1000 abralon. I will just clean it with clean and dull and thats it..

I did not like the regular action at all but have really liked the last 3 Columbia 300 releases, uturn particle pearl, power drive sanded (very underated ball) and the action packed.

Good job Columbia 300.. Keep up the good work!!
