I believe the Professional had the mallet core from the Bully line. Kinda like a limited-edition BYB.

The Professional was the pearl Bully using M80. It's a deceptively strong ball, comparing in roll to an Absolute Inferno. The AP has the cover of the BYB -M80^2, which is longer and more angular than M80, with an eariler rolling core. My guess - haven't drilled my AP yet, is that the Professional will be a tad earlier and not quite as angular on the back, based on identical drillings and lane conditions. I think they'd complement each other very well in a 4 or six ball arsenal, based on drillings.
Hope this helps,
Bill

Professional goes long and has a nice strong, yet very consistent and controlable arc... most suited for medium to medium dry.. its also a micro loaded partical pearl shell.
Action Packed starts its roll early and sets up well for a long, strong, hard arc... It can be drilled long snap for those with good speed and some yank... Most suited for heavy to Medium lanes... it is a polished pearl reactive shell.
