I'm about to purchase the Wrath Dead Flush online. Two questions i have before i finalize the purchase, 1) DO you think this would be a good choice for short, light medium conditions? 2) I often hear about selecting pin placement online, my local driller said go with a 2inch pin. What does this mean and what is the difference in selecting something other than 2 inch? Thanks.

when you say span, are you speaking of the distance from thumb hole to fingers?

Depends how you are drilling the ball. Pin under fingers about 1 inch pin. above 4-5 inch pin.
I don't understand that choice.

You can't select a 2" pin, in general. Most internet sellers allow you to specify a range, like 1-2", 2-3", 3-4" and 4-5".
If your driller suggests a 2" pin, you can ask for a 2-3"pin and ask the seller if they will guarantee that pin distance. Most will.

what about the question "DO you think this would be a good choice for short, light medium conditions? "

In general, it should be, but a lot depends on your release, the drill and the actual condiitons. It's definitely a go-long, skid/flip pearlized ball with polished fine surface. Also better not have ANY carrydown.

Do you think the High FLush would be a better choice?
