Pure Physics compared to the Outburst
« on: November 16, 2010, 01:01:35 AM »
Im considering drilling a PP, but with the outburst coming soon I dont know if I should. How do they compare to each other?

Both will handle med-heavy to heavy oil... The Pure should give you a little more length with a bigger back end reaction COMPAREED TO the OutBurst. The OutBurst should be strong but smoother on the back end..

What I see different is this... One can polish the OutBurst without it going postal... But be careful if you polish the Pure...

So if going with the Outburst, I would use it low sanded with polish... If going with the Pure, I would leave it at the box finish or bring it up to a 4000 pad...

The Pure Physics is a lot stronger than the Outburst, both balls are exceptional for what they are designed to do.
For more oil go with the Pure Physics

PP is stronger... however I have seen a few of them and none of them have a big backend reaction, rather very early and smooth. I think the outburst, although a weaker ball, may provide a stronger backend reaction.

This may be due to the fact that you are seeing the ball used on too light a pattern...that is why I said bring the ball up to a 4000 pad...

Now as for the  back end reaction... I was comparing the Pure to the outburst...

One should see more back end on the Pure compared to the OutBurst...

I would agree with Dale if you are on an oily pattern the Pure Physics is the ticket.  I sub in doubles league where they put out a high volume pattern.  (Quite a treat for me to bowl on vs the short, low volume pattern I bowl on in 5 man league).  The Pure Physics would be my choice if you are bowling on medium heavy-heavy oil.

My Pure Physics was rolling out after a game or less (depending on who was playing with me). I threw it one game at box finish and took it down to 1000. Which just let me get even further inside with it, as not moving caused an even bigger burn obviously.

This is where I got success with the ball.

I sanded it down to 1000, then went over it with 4000 for 15 seconds on all 6 sides by hand.

The result, a hook monster, that didn't burn up but just hooked too damn much. No longer was it burning up, but it felt like I could cover 2 lanes with it if I wanted to lol.

Yep, at 4000 the ball is a beast...oops, bad choice of words...

Make that, the ball at 4000 is an animal...

     Jls,

You seem like a reasonable man.  Sometimes you seem to get a little riled up, but we all do.  But sir.......as you refer to most of us........Vise is the worst when it comes to shills on this site.  It's ludicrous.

I don't condone the idiot beast at all.  I don't even know if he even really works for Vise.  But whether he does or not, it doesn't change my strong opinion, that Vise has shills who regularly visit this site.

I only bring this up because another guy on one of the neighboring threads was getting bashed and crucified today and asked who these other guys were shills for.  Then I see you arguing with the Beast, and his claims to work for Vise.

Just my observation.  Take it for what it is worth......just an opinion.

Sir,  This clown known as the beast has been doing this in just about every thread on this site...

Now I don't know or care if he works for Vise or not... We stock their inserts... Have done so for years and years... we no longer stock their Skin protection tape... we now stock just Turbo...

Now this clown likes to call everyone "poopy head"...

Now I ask you sir, do you think that anything this clown says bothers me...

He is a joke, nothing more...

Someone "Fixed" one of his post,  I thought that was funny...

But as you say, arguing with him is a waste of time...

"seem like a resonable man"  <<<< nice, I think I like this guy...

"a little riled up"  <<<< me, now that's funny....

I guess you must have caught that famous 4.5 thread...oops

Thanks and take care sir....

Well I drilled a PP and took it to 4000, I shot 247 248 278 for a 773 out of the box. I thought it would be a little stronger for what we were bowling on but I'm not disappointed it will fit good in my line up even after I add a Outburst. Thanks for your suggestions.

I agree with jls on this one, the PP will go longer and will be stronger downlane and the Outburst will be earlier and smoother downlane.

I made the mistake of polishing a Full Swing and it was just too much downlane, so I won't be doing that with the PP.
