Title: question about scout cores

i see some scouts had just a pancake and some appear to have a pancake plus a small center puck. does it make any difference? i am bowling on super dry and have learned finally how to hook the ball a little bit so i need something weaker than my hammer green vibe to work on repeating a "more hand" shot this summer. is the scout with the puck a good choice and how can i make sure the one i get has the puck if it does make a difference? any non-sarcastic opinions would be valued.

I think it would be a good choice as well. The Scouts are all the same just have different colors. I use one for spares only.  With the reactive cover on the Scout will still hook in the backend of the lane. Good luck.

The Scouts made in San Antonio generally had the puck. The Scouts made in Hopkinsville just have a pancake. The ones with the puck had about twice the Rg diff, so they had more flare potential(hook).
