Columbia Equipment
« on: August 13, 2013, 04:21:55 AM »
Thinking about using Columbia this fall, but not many throw it in my area. Was wondering how the current Columbia stuff falls inline. Can someone that uses columbia please rate the following bowling balls in overall strength 1 being the weakest and 8 being the strongest? The freeze hybrid, violent eruption, disruption, vow, smack down, oath, antics, and enigma. Thanks...

If you go on bowlingball.com you can see their perfect scale ratings to see how their equipment compares across the board on hook rating.

Blueprint, I suggest that you consult the spreadsheet that one of our posters was kind enough to provide. Google it at "BTM Ball Reviews." You will find all the information that you need on Columbia products.

You actually have everything in the right order just backwards. If you go from the enigma back you have it from my aggressive to weakest. I just started throwing columbia last season first 2 i got were the mass and violent eruptions, 2 of my all time favorites now. Columbia did a great job with there line, everything has there niche and does what its suppose to do with no over lap. Looking forward to drilling up a disruption and smackdown this up coming season

You cant really go by the perfect scale. It says iq tour pearl is 211 and brutal nightmare is 226 and i have both and they are very similar just a little different reaction.

I only agree with that scale when comparing multiple balls under one company.
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???
