Does anyone know anything about the Columbia Wire? Its supposed
to have a modifed Wow cover w/ the Pearl Wow's base core along w/ the shaft of the Ti-Messenger. And the kicker is its 2.46 RG core rating!

if you know anything let me know.

thanks

I was at th pro shop when they received their test ball Friday.

The ball is NOT green.

It's a pearl cover with almost the EXACT same coloration as the Brunswick Igniter, just a little less blue.

Probably wouldn't have realized that if I hadn't had my Igniter up on the counter when he pulled the ball out of the box.

He was pretty upset because they sent him a 5 & 1/2 inch pin for testing.

Introducing UFD (Ultimate Friction in Dry)...a combination of the best coverstock on the market today - Super Flex coupled with a super fine, tackified additive for unparalleled friction on the backend.

After reading these words, i believe my next words where... What the fu*k!!

I myself use nothing but Columbia, but i think this ball is a waste of money and its not gonna sell. Ultimate Friction in Dry??? Who the hell needs that. Isnt that what Wicked, beast master, and mesengers for?

I sure hope they are working on that approval. Otherwise I hope they aren't expecting to sell many.

I wonder if it got denied, or if it just hasn't passed approval yet.
